Crystal grids are a simple and effective way to amplify your intentions and elevate the healing properties of your crystals. They consist of energetically aligned crystals that are placed in defined geometric shapes to magnify the power and flow of energy for a specific desire or purpose.

What are Crystal Grids 

Physically, a crystal grid is a pattern that you choose to arrange your crystals in. These patterns can be pre-printed material grids or they can be intuitively guided. Metaphysically, a crystal grid utilizes sacred geometry, which amplifies our connection to the universal sources around us.

Sacred geometry is the language of the universe. When these universal formations are expressed in the grids, we immerse in the energy of oneness and unity that permeates all life. In this grid, the crystal vibration is enhanced exponentially because its healing properties are being charged with intention and combined with the divine powers of the sacred geometric pattern.

How to Make a Crystal Grid

While there are no set rules on how to assemble a crystal grid, there are some simple guidelines that can help amplify the properties and energies of your stones. The first step is to decide what your intention is for the grid. You may like to write down your intention and place it under the central stone. 

Once you have set your intention, select which crystals you are going to use. You may pick crystals guided by intuition or based on the intention of your grid. You can choose crystals of the same type, or you can use a combination of different kinds. If you decide to mix crystals, pick stones that have complementary energies. Stones that have the same elements or properties work well together naturally.

Most crystal grids contain a central stone, which acts as the anchor that emits your intention into the universe. The center stone is generally the largest stone in size or highest vibration. Surrounding the center stone are way stones that amplify or modify the energies of the grid. In the outermost portion of the grid, you may place additional amplification stones, typically quartz points or tumbles that will power up the grid even more.

Once you have chosen your crystals, ensure that they are charged, cleansed, and free from lingering energies. Clear and purify the space in which you’ll be working as well.

To create the formation of your grid, you may utilize a sacred geometry pattern or allow your intuition to guide the flow of your crystal placements. Once the grid is set up, you must activate your grid through the power of your intention. You’ll want to trace the lines of the grid either with your hands, a clear quartz crystal, or with a crystal wand. By doing this, you are energetically linking all of the stones in your grid with each other, with your intention, with the sacred geometry, and with the universal energies. 

Move your hands or the crystal wand back to the center to infuse it with universal energy so that it may carry out its purpose. Leave your grid in place, with the crystals on it, for as long as you feel is necessary.
